FastBots is a no-code platform for building an AI chatbot that answers questions using your own content - your website pages, PDFs, help docs, spreadsheets, and even YouTube videos - instead of a generic AI that has never seen your business.

Who it’s for

Based on FastBots’ own positioning, it’s aimed at small businesses, e-commerce stores, agencies, schools, and hospitality/service businesses that get a lot of repetitive support questions and want a chatbot live on their site (and on WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger, Slack, or Telegram) without hiring a developer.

How it works

Setup is three steps: import your data (website URL, documents, spreadsheets, videos), customize the bot’s look and personality, then embed it with a code snippet or a shareable link. You can choose which AI model powers the responses - OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google - rather than being locked into one provider.

Adding an AI chatbot to WhatsApp with FastBots

This is FastBots’ most-promoted use case, and it’s simple in principle: train the chatbot on your content, then link it to your WhatsApp Business number so it answers incoming messages automatically - no separate WhatsApp Business API setup described beyond connecting that number. FastBots advertises this as doable “in under 2 minutes.” Once connected, the same chatbot handles multiple conversations at once, can hand off to a human when needed, and (per FastBots) replies in around 95 languages - useful if your customers don’t all message you in the same language.

If your main goal is specifically a WhatsApp chatbot (rather than a website widget), this is worth trying on the free plan first, given the same 50-message and 14-day-inactivity limits described below.

The free plan is worth starting with

FastBots has a genuinely free tier, not just a time-limited trial: 1 chatbot, 50 message credits a month, and up to 100 crawled pages, using FastBots’ faster/cheaper base models. That’s enough to build a real chatbot and test it on live traffic before paying anything.

The catch: 50 messages a month disappears quickly on an active site (a single AI reply can use more than one credit depending on the model), and training data is cleared if the bot goes 14 days without any activity - fine for testing, not for parking a bot indefinitely.

Paid plans

Paid plans start at Essential ($33/mo billed annually, or $39/mo month-to-month) for 2 chatbots and 2,000 message credits, up through Business ($75/mo) and Premium ($165/mo, which is also the first tier that removes the “Powered by FastBots” branding). There’s also a Reseller/white-label tier and custom Enterprise pricing.

Our take

If you get repetitive support questions and don’t want to brief/manage a developer, FastBots’ free plan is a low-risk way to see whether an AI chatbot actually reduces your workload before committing to a paid tier.
